HADLEY – On Tuesday, October 26th, Cooley Dickinson’s team of physical, occupational and speech-language therapists previously based at 170 University Drive in Amherst began seeing patients in a new, larger facility located at 380 Russell Street, Hadley. The new facility features a larger gym with state-of-the-art equipment, private treatment rooms, and natural light throughout the facility. Rehab therapists provide specialized rehab service for workers’ compensation injuries as well as orthopedic conditions including hand therapy, spine care and sports medicine and musculoskeletal injuries. Many of the providers hold advanced degrees in their areas of expertise. An open house is planned for the Rehab facility on Thursday, Nov. 18 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. For more information about Rehab Services call 413-586-9333. Now that their former office has been vacated at 170 University Drive, preparations are being made for the occupational clinic, which has operated in a smaller space for the past year, to expand in the space previously occupied by Cooley Dickinson’s Rehab Services. The urgent care clinic, known as AEIOU – an acronym for Ambulatory, Employee, Industrial, Occupational Urgent Health Care – is expected to open its doors to urgent care business on Monday, Nov. 1. Their hours will soon be expanded to Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information about the occupational health/urgent care clinic call 413-461-3530.
